S.I Music is an abbreviation for second image which was formally a youth reggae sound system which operated within the north London area between 1992 and 1994. The company was originally founded by Jason Edwards, N Nelson, Paul Plunkit, and Michael Green during the first era of the Sound systems times, The Company then relaunched itself as S.I Music in 2004 under the same directorship as before but this time as an independent Record label headed by senior Engineer and Producer D Goody. The label quickly emerged on the underground scene in 2004 releasing a independent album titled the Second Coming which feature a variety of different artist over the Productions of S.I Music, artist include Mike GLC, Klashnekoff, Eurogang, and in house artist Esquire, Peniro, Ghetto and Dagenham Dave. S.I Music also enjoys national radio playlist with Dagenham Dave’s 50pence track in the Club which was well recieved through 2004/2005. In 2005 The label also released a Mixtape and DVD Classic title Teflon Seasoned which was continuously repressed by demand and featured interviews and tracks from Sway, Sincere, Bigz, PDC, SMS and many more. The company then broke down and went into administration in March 2005
In 2009 the S.I Music was Reinstated under the sole directorship of Jason Edwards, The label now primarily function as a production and management Company and today have offices in London UK, Miami Florida and Kingston Jamaica. Since the relaunch in 2009 S.I Music is sponsored and partly owned by European investment broker Amoure, The productions from within the S.I Music group range Between Fusion Reggae, Hip Hop, Dance Music, Drum and Bass and R&B.
